Weddings
Congratulations on your Engagement!
Let’s get started on creating the perfect wedding ceremony.
The following are the steps to getting from “YES” to “I DO.”

Upon reading about me and feeling like it may be a match, you, your partner, and I, will set up a Zoom meeting at a mutual convenient time. We need just under an hour and this first consultation is free. At this first meeting we’ll spend some time getting to know one another, and I’ll inquire about some of the key elements that you would like for your ceremony, using an intake form created with specific intent. You can ask questions of me to get a flavour and feel of how the process will unfold.
I’m legally available to perform ceremonies Canada wide, however I’m currently registered in British Columbia, and focus my services to accommodate couples on southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands with Victoria being my home base.
The next step is for you and your partner to commit to having me customize your ceremony. A
$197 non-refundable retainer is e-transferred to hold the date and time of your ceremony. The
base fee for all ceremonies begins at $395, and includes two Zoom meetings, as well as unlimited email access. Additional in-person meetings have a fee of $125. Travel outside of Greater Victoria, ferries, destination travel and overnight fees vary according to each unique ceremony.
Just looking for a quick hitch and wanting to elope? This can easily be accommodated at the location of your choice. The fee for the basics to make your marriage legal is $269 and will include the declaration of intent, wedding vows, the kiss and the signing of the registry.
When choosing to move forward with a ceremony, we then communicate via email and start putting the pieces into place, blending yours and your partner’s creative ideas to set the mood, tone and flavour of the ceremony. At this juncture I’m available for consultation via email until the ceremony is finalized and confirmed in writing, and it is presented exactly how you envision the ceremony to unfold.
You and your partner are required to obtain your own wedding license from an approved BC Vital Statistics location, details for this can be found at The BC Government Website. The fee is $100 and once purchased, the license is valid for 90 days. I’ll ask for the license at our second meeting or at rehearsal.
Two to three weeks prior to the wedding, we connect in-person for our second meeting, in order to walk through the pieces of the ceremony to determine if adjustments are required and to make any changes or additions.
Rehearsals are recommended, but not required, and they are scheduled in one of the days just before the wedding, at a fee of $152 within Greater Victoria.
To make things official, two witnesses are required at the signing of the registry, so part of the planning process will be to determine who your witnesses will be.

My commitment to you and your partner is to bring ease, grace, and simplicity to the process of creating your wedding ceremony, while at the same time making it memorable, enjoyable and magical for you and your guests. With all this said, it would be my honour and my pleasure to be part of your special day.
