Let’s get started on creating the perfect wedding ceremony. The following are the steps to getting from “YES” to “I DO.”

Upon reading about me and feeling like it may be a match, you, your partner, and I, will set up a Zoom meeting at a mutual convenient time. We need just under an hour and this first consultation is free. At this first meeting we’ll spend some time getting to know one another, and I’ll inquire about some of the key elements that you would like for your ceremony, using an intake form created with specific intent. You can ask questions of me to get a flavour and feel of how the process will unfold.

I’m legally available to perform ceremonies Canada wide, however I’m currently registered in British Columbia, and focus my services to accommodate couples on southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands with Victoria being my home base.
The next step is for you and your partner to commit to having me customize your ceremony. A $197 non-refundable retainer is e-transferred to hold the date and time of your ceremony. The base fee for all ceremonies begins at $395, and includes two Zoom meetings, as well as unlimited email access. Additional in-person meetings have a fee of $125. Travel outside of Greater Victoria, ferries, destination travel and overnight fees vary according to each unique ceremony.
Just looking for a quick hitch and wanting to elope? This can easily be accommodated at the location of your choice. The fee for the basics to make your marriage legal is $269 and will include the declaration of intent, wedding vows, the kiss and the signing of the registry.
When choosing to move forward with a ceremony, we then communicate via email and start putting the pieces into place, blending yours and your partner’s creative ideas to set the mood, tone and flavour of the ceremony. At this juncture I’m available for consultation via email until the ceremony is finalized and confirmed in writing, and it is presented exactly how you envision the ceremony to unfold.
You and your partner are required to obtain your own wedding license from an approved BC Vital Statistics location, details for this can be found at The BC Government Website. The fee is $100 and once purchased, the license is valid for 90 days. I’ll ask for the license at our second meeting or at rehearsal.
Two to three weeks prior to the wedding, we connect in-person for our second meeting, in order to walk through the pieces of the ceremony to determine if adjustments are required and to make any changes or additions.
Rehearsals are recommended, but not required, and they are scheduled in one of the days just before the wedding, at a fee of $152 within Greater Victoria.
To make things official, two witnesses are required at the signing of the registry, so part of the planning process will be to determine who your witnesses will be.

My commitment to you and your partner is to bring ease, grace, and simplicity to the process of creating your wedding ceremony, while at the same time making it memorable, enjoyable and magical for you and your guests. Expressing authentic love is our birthright and the greatest gift we can share with another. Coming together in marriage is a sacred covenant in which authentic love leads the way. -Andria
Andria was a fantastic addition to our wedding vendors!!! She was filled with a vibrant energy the whole time, and was nothing but incredibly wonderful to me and my new hubby. Our ceremony was very personal and it felt so great to not be judged!
Planning a wedding is stressful and chaotic at the best of times - then try re-planning the day of your dreams during a pandemic. When some unexpected turns left us needing to tie the knot a few days early, Andria was the officiant we reached out to. She was up for the task, and saved the day! With only seven hours' notice, she married us at sunset before we took some memorable photos on the beach. Her creative and positive energy was exactly what we needed that day, and even the short and simple ceremony she prepared for us had us both laughing and crying. We would recommend her to anyone who wants a light-hearted - yet meaningful - ceremony on their big day. Thanks, Andria!
Rarely have Sarah and I had our highest expectations exceeded. Thankfully, one of these times was at our wedding, where Andria officiated our outdoor beach ceremony! She traversed hills, a sandy beach, navigated boulders and ocean currents to get to our most challenging and secluded wedding spot! The ceremony was flawless...and exceptional! She channeled the most beautiful words and helped create magic, peace and love! Andria was born to unite people in love & marriage! Sarah and I feel so blessed to have been bound by eternal love and marriage with Andria as our ordained minister, guide and friend!
We are so happy to have had Andria as our officiant. She is warm, caring and creative, and helped us to make our wedding ceremony so meaningful and memorable. We chose to do a more spiritual ceremony and Andria created one that was our own and exactly what we wanted. She helped guide us through the whole thing beforehand so that we didn't have to worry about anything. Her warm sense of humour also put us at ease before the big day. We are so grateful for Andria's presence at our wedding!
"The most unique and special ceremony are the ones that represent who you are. And when you find a commissioner who encourages and "gets it" then some badass magic can occur in that space! Andria custom created the loveliest ceremony rooted in the ancestral heritage of A + M. The creation of a circle, handfasting and broom jump were all woven together under the canopy of an old Apple tree. I have to say I can't wait to work with Andria again because my witchy heart loved every second of it!"
“Andria was recommended to us by our wedding planner after we had to postpone our original wedding plans due to the pandemic. We made the decision to elope and from our very first virtual meeting with her, Andria was very excited and willing to help out in any way to make our day happen. She was accommodating to our wants and made the process of putting together the ceremony stress free, which was extremely appreciated during the current situation. Andria is friendly, upbeat, and wonderful to work with, we can't thank her enough for officiating our wedding!"
